Buntingford Men’s Shed celebrated its official Grand Opening on 20th August 2026, marking an important milestone for the charity and its members.
We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Buntingford, Cllr Duncan Wallace, who officially opened the Shed and helped us celebrate the occasion alongside members, supporters and friends from the local community.
The event was kindly hosted by Layston Grove Care Home, who made everyone extremely welcome and generously laid on beer and a barbecue for the occasion. Needless to say, both went down very well!
It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and a great opportunity to celebrate how far Buntingford Men’s Shed has come, while looking forward to its future as a welcoming place for friendship, practical activities and community involvement.
A huge thank you to Cllr Duncan Wallace, Layston Grove Care Home, and everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.
